Sienna’s POV

Alexander kept his word and we stayed inside my apartment for the next day and a half getting to know each other again, intimately. 

We woke up that Monday morning wrapped up in each other not really wanting to get up out of bed, honestly I could have stayed another day in bed with my man, just the two of us

“Excited to go look for our future home today my love?” he says to me nuzzling his face into my neck “Mmmm yes but I’m not ready to leave our bed just yet” I say as he softly chuckles “I know, we’ve literally be naked for 36 hours, it’s going to be weird leaving this bed let alone putting clothes on” we both laugh

“You know before we start looking at places there is somewhere we have to go first” I say to him as he nods “Yes, I know, I’m sure they will be happy to hear the news” he replies 

Eventually we get up out of bed and have a shower, we get dressed before grabbing some quick breakfast and heading uptown

I texted them before we went over to ensure it was a good time to visit “Hello! Good to see you both” Jean-Marc welcoming us at the door  “You too! How are you all doing?” I ask as we quietly come inside their apartment

“Good, Violetta is sleeping at the moment and Scarlet is getting most of her strength back now, it’s been almost two months since the birth and every day just gets better”

We walk in and see Scarlet sitting on the couch smiling, she looked good but a bit pale and fragile, she had lost a lot of weight since the birth 

I walk over to give her a hug, I sit opposite her while Jean snuggles in next to her placing his arm around his wife as Alexander sits next me “So we kind of have news we want to share…” I say as I see Scarlet’s face light up “OMG YOU’RE ENGAGED?” she shouts 

The three of us laugh at her excitement “No, no, no engagement, my god Scar don’t scare the guy away, anyway, maybe you should tell them handsome?” I say placing my hand on Alexander’s knee

“Well I quit my job so I can move to New York to be with Sienna, we’re going to start looking for a bigger place and seeing as you’re Sienna’s current landlords it was probably best to let you both know first” Alexander smiles taking my hand in his “That’s amazing news guys, we’re so happy for you both” Scarlet beams 

“Absolutely! Will be so good to have you here full time in New York, it’s actually a coincidence because I was recently looking at purchasing an investment property, one of the guys from work was going to sell it for a very reasonable price, Scarlet and I haven’t had a chance to go see it yet, maybe the four of us could go?” Jean-Marc states

I looked over at Alexander’s face to try and read his facial expressions to know what he was thinking, I didn’t want him to feel like he had to agree to Jean and Scarlet offer, if he wanted us to do it on our own terms than I would be comfortable with that

“Yeah, sure we can go have a look” Alexander nods “Great! let me give him a call now” Jean-Marc smiles as he gets up to leave the room, Scarlet also excuses herself to check on the baby

“Alexander, we don’t have to take their apartment, if you want this process to just be you and me with no one else’s involvement I’m okay with that” I say to him as I place my hand on his knee again

“I appreciate that Si, I’m happy to look at the place, if it’s not for us we will just politely tell them that” he says smiling  

“I still can’t believe we’re looking for our own place together, it feels like a dream” I say to him unable to wipe the smile off my place “Me too baby, having you in my arms every morning is going to be amazing in many, many ways” he winks, naughty man

The four of us head over to the apartment, we arrived at a beautiful building with a very formal door man greeting us, Alexander and I look at each other knowing this apartment was most likely going to be too extravagant for us

We went up to the 34th floor Apartment 344 and walked into a stunning home “Oh my gosh, this is amazing” I say picking up my jaw from the floor

Jean and Scarlet head to the kitchen as Alexander and I check out the bedroom “Baby, this place is beautiful but it’s too much” I say to him “It is a stunning home Si, I think the rent is going to be pretty high” he replies

We check out the rest of the rooms and meet with Jean and Scar at the front of the apartment “Wow, it’s lovely isn’t it?” Scarlet says to us “Yeah it’s incredible, a lot more upmarket than we were probably thinking though” I say to them both “Oh don’t let that worry you, why don’t we all think about it and speak again in a couple of days times?” Jean-Marc states as we all agree  

Alexander and I decided to grab some brunch before I had to head into college for a few afternoon classes and lectures “So had you found any places online?” I ask him as I tuck into my omelette “A few, If Jean and Scarlet buy that place as an investment do you want to consider it?” he asks me, I shake my head “It’s too much, I mean you don’t have a job right now and I only work at the Fashion House a few days a week, I have no idea how we would pay the rent, I don’t want Jean and Scar to think we’re some charity case they have to help out, I want to stand on our own two feet and be independent” I tell him 

Alexander’s POV

I could understand Sienna’s concerns about the apartment, it was much more than we expected or wanted but financially she didn’t have to worry, when Kate and I divorced our house sold for a lot more than expected and I had only been renting the townhouse when I was living in California, James was also a very generous boss and I had made some good money working for him

I was conflicted about what to do, I wanted to give my queen a palace to live in but at the same time I wanted to respect her wishes for us to do this on our own, I guess I would think it over too 

After our brunch I kiss Sienna goodbye and head back to her apartment to get changed, I had a job interview with some Wall Street high flyer who needed a private pilot on call 24/7, I didn’t know how demanding he would be but the job paid well and I was hoping it will be a similar agreement to James’, I also had an interview later in the week for some freelance work looking over aviation training manuals 

After my interview with Ryan, the investment banker, I was secretly hoping not to get the job, he seemed like such a wanker and appeared to have taken the movie ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ as a guide on how to live life rather than a frank warning, I don’t know if I had ever met anyone so obnoxious 

I get back to Sienna’s apartment and decide to do something special for my beautiful girl, I knew she was going to be home any minute now so I fill up the bath tub with warm bubbly water, on my way home I had picked up some chocolate covered strawberries, roses and champagne, I light up a few small tealight candles in the bathroom to give us a bit of mood lighting

After the afternoon I had I couldn’t wait to just have a nice long soak in the tub holding my love in my arms drinking in her intoxicating scent and having my fingers all over her soft silky skin

“Handsome, are you here?” she calls out “Bathroom baby” I reply “Oh my god, what is all this?” she says as her eyes light up “Just a little bit of romance for the woman I love” I say to her as I slowly undress her, my mouth starts trailing kisses down her neck as she lightly moans

“You wouldn’t be trying to seduce me, would you now Mr.Rose?” she says as her last piece of clothing falls the to floor “Absolutely I am, Miss. Hazelwood” I smirk as I lift her up and softly lower her into the tub joining her immediately 

She leans back in my arms as I pour some champagne and feed her some strawberries “Tell me about your day handsome” she asks, I tell her about the jerk off I could be working for soon and my other perspective job opportunities, she proceeds to tell me about college and how we feels like she has finally caught up after her accident, she turns around to face me as she tells me more about her day

After our bath I wrap her up in a big fluffy towel and lower her into the bed “I want to make love to you Sienna, not sex, make love, I want to kiss every single inch of your body and worship you like the goddess you are, I need you to feel the love that I have for you” I say to her as I kiss down on her lips

“Mmm Alexander, that’s so beautiful and romantic, I love you baby” she replies “Love you forever Sienna” I whisper back as I move my whole body on top of her

As promised I made love to my beautiful woman for the next hour, savoring her body and touch, I never knew love could feel this way, the love I had for her was so deep, so intimate, there was no doubt in my mind that we belonged together, she is my everything

One week Later 

Sienna and I were about to head out for dinner when we hear a knock on the door, it was Jean, Scarlet and Violetta, we invite them in and I grab Violetta straight away, she was so damn adorable “You’re so good with her” Scarlet says to me “She’s perfect” I reply smiling

“We came over to tell you guys that we bought that apartment and if you want to be our tenants we’d really love that” Jean-Marc tells us “Thank you, that’s such a sweet offer but we can’t accept, I know we couldn’t afford the rent for a place like that” Sienna replies 

“We can work out an arrangement, I mean after all your’re family, let us help you out” Scarlet tells me “I know but we don’t want charity, we want to stand on our own two feet” Sienna states looking at me as I nod “Do you like the apartment?” Scarlet asks “Of course, it’s beautiful but that’s not the issue” Sienna replies “What does Alexander think?” Scarlet asks with everyone’s eyes now firmly on Violetta and I

“Honestly, I love the apartment and I appreciate the generosity of you both but if Sienna isn’t comfortable with taking it then I have to respect her wishes” I state feeling conflicted 

I see Sienna face turn as she shrugs “Come on Cuz, take the apartment, let us help, I know you’d help us if we were in the same situation plus you’ll be close to Aunt Betty and us…. Violetta needs you guys close….” Scarlet says playfully nudging Sienna while drowning her in guilt “Finnneeee, we will take the beautiful apartment” Sienna caves as Scarlet claps excitedly 

We all went out for a drink to celebrate apart from Violetta who just stuck with milk,  I was so excited to be starting our lives together, getting to set up our apartment with our things, making memories in our apartment and of course christening every room, it finally felt like everything was falling into place

One Month Later

“Baby, do we need more boxes?” I hear Sienna call out “Maybe just one more” I reply packing up her plates and bowls “Here we go handsome” she smiles as she gives me a playful smack on my butt as she goes past

An hour later after continuous packing I suggest to Sienna that we take a break and go out for ice cream “I’ll miss the neighborhood around here” Sienna remarks as we slowly walk back to the apartment “Me too but just think of all the places we get to explore and try out in our new neighborhood”  I reply grabbing her hand in mine “It’s exciting, no doubt” she smiles

As we arrive home we see something very unexpected waiting at the front door, it was Brandon and he looked really upset “I’ve been trying to call you” he says in a monotone voice “Sorry Son, I left my phone inside, we just went to get ice cream, what’s happened?” I ask crouching down facing Brandon as he leans up against the front door sitting on the ground his head between his legs

“Its’ Mom… she’s dead” his voice breaks and my heart immediately stops

Alexander’s POV

I get back to California just in time to take James and his family to Texas for his game, I decided that I’d talk to him after we get back to Cali

James put me up in a lovely hotel in Houston and it reiterated that I was making the right choice, I was alone without the woman I love staying in these amazing 5 star hotels when I should be having these experiences with her but instead I sit alone in the room flicking channels trying to find something good to watch

After finding nothing better on then ‘The Real Housewives of Nobody Cares’ I decided to head down to the gym, I know I’m fit and healthy but I have a much younger woman and as time goes on I want to make sure I’m still desirable to her, it often plays on my mind and truth be told it’s something I feel self conscious about, also If I’m going to be a Father later on I need to be the best I can be physically, emotionally and mentally for our child

After hitting the weights, treadmill and boxing bags, I decided to call it a night and head back up to my room, I shower before calling Sienna while laying in bed, I wasn’t looking forward to speaking with James tomorrow

The flight home was easy and after I helped his family off the plane I pull James aside “Hey, would I be able to have a chat with you?” I say swallowing the lump in my throat “No… No… I can see the look in your eyes, please don’t say it, I’ll pay you more, you can have the plane whatever you want, I’ll… I’ll pay for the engagement ring when you proposed to her…” he stutters, I place my hand on his arm and give him a small small

“You and I both know there is nothing you can offer, you’ve been wonderful to work for and I couldn’t have asked for anything more, I just have to be with her, I need her with me” I tell him with a slight tinge of sadness in my voice

James lets out a big sigh “I get it, I do, we’re just going to miss you man, can you stay on till the end of the season?” he asks, the season was only for another 4 weeks, 6 weeks if they make finals which was highly likely, I knew before he asked that I would stay on until the end

“Absolutely, I’ll also help find a replacement for next season, I know a lot of good pilots” I tell him shaking hands “I’m sorry to see you go, we’ll all miss you” he states “Me too, I wish things were different” 

I head home feeling immensely deflated, I want to put my relationship first but I hate letting down people and the conversation with Brandon is going to be even harder, I was expecting him home for dinner tonight and I’ll talk to him afterwards

A few hours later I hear him arrive “Dad, are you home? Zara and I are here” I hear him call out “I’m in the kitchen” I reply, he comes in and gives me a quick hug “How are you both?” I ask him and Zara “Good, college is a killer but apart from that we’re good” Brandon replies as Zara nods

We sat down to eat dinner and chat about college and life in general, afterwards Zara announced she was going to have a shower and I knew this would be the perfect time to chat to Brandon

“So there is something I wanted to talk to you about, as you know my relationship with Sienna has continued to grow and we’re very serious about each other, it’s becoming increasing hard to continue our relationship while living in different states, so I’ve been thinking about moving to New York while she’s still at Columbia, what do you think about that?” I ask him bluntly 

“Well… I can’t say I’m surprised, I kind of expected it to be honest” he says shrugging “Zara and I had talked about it before and we’re thinking about transferring to colleges in New York, Zara is studying fashion so it would be perfect for her and I would like to experience living in the Big Apple”

“Really?! Oh Brandon I would love that but you guys need to be sure this is right for the both of you” I tell him with my heart racing at the thought of my son coming to NY with me

“Well, we’re still working it all out and there is another 3 months until the college year is over but we might come up soon and check out the colleges and the city, Zara’s family live far away and really there isn’t much left for us in California” Brandon states

There was one question I had to ask him but really didn’t want to ask “What about your Mother?” I say, he shakes his head “I don’t know Dad, I’m still so mad at her, I was angry at you for so long for no reason, it wasn’t fair” Brandon didn’t know about Kate’s recent antics of hiring a woman to destroy my relationship with Sienna and honestly I think if he knew he would be done with her for good, as angry as I was with her I wasn’t going to stoop to her level, I wanted Brandon to have a relationship with his Mother

“My advice would be if you decide to move to NY I think you should try and patch up things with your Mother before you leave but that’s up to you, I know what she did was wrong but she loves you” I tell him as I tap him on the shoulder and head to bed 

6 weeks later

Sienna’s POV

It had been 6 long weeks since I had seen my man, 6 very long lonely weeks and to say I was on edge was an understatement but now he was only minutes away from arriving and I was beyond excited not only because I get to have my man over and over again but because he had a surprise for me, something he had been teasing me about for the last 6 weeks

I decided to place some beautiful pink silk bed sheets down and get into a sexy pink lace nightie that I picked up during the week, my phone was going to be switched off and I was locking the door for the next few days until we were both completely satisfied 

I hear the key turn in the door and my heart races at the anticipation of my man now being seconds away from seeing me, I feel completely giddy and euphoric 

“Baby, are you home?” I hear him call out “In the bedroom handsome!” I reply, I see him walk in the room and my face lights up, his gorgeous smile beaming at me with a small twinkle in his deep blue eyes

“Oh how I have missed you Si” he growls as he starts to undress “Not as much as I’ve missed you” I reply smiling “I doubt that very much” he chuckles

“I swear you get more and more beautiful each time I see you” he says as he jumps on the bed on top of me, his soft sweet lips immediately connecting with mine, a shiver runs through my body as I finally have my love physically with me, his kisses grow needy as his hands explore my body “You’re so sexy Sienna, I love every single inch of you” he whispers as his lips start travelling down my neck and our need for each becomes increasing intense

“I’ve missed you so much Alexander, I love you handsome” I tell him as he slowly removes my nightie and panties, “I love you baby girl, so damn much it hurts”  he replies

Both of us facing each other, naked, with me sitting on his lap, it’s crazy I thought we would be like a couple of wild animals ripping off each others clothes instead we’re taking it slow, drinking each other in, I don’t think we realized how much we missed each other until we were back together

Alexander touches me and feels how incredibly aroused I’ve become, he slowly moves his erection inside me as I let out a loud sigh of relief, finally we were making love again “Ohhh Alexxxannndder” 

My arms wrap around his neck as he slowly bounces me up and down “You feel so amazing Si, I can’t get enough” he growls as one of his hands that was on my hip moves to my breasts, squeezing down with his thumb flicking at my nipples

Our pace starts to increase as we both start to climax “I want to make love to you all night baby” he states as I gasp for air “Yesssss handsome, I want it, I want it so bad” I mutter out as my orgasm takes over my body, I scream out his name as his head falls onto my shoulder, I feel his body shake as he releases his seed into me

We both slowly come down from our orgasmic high as he places small kisses all over my shoulders and neck “Mmmm you’re so addictive Sienna” I laugh as he speeds up the kisses going crazy like a wild man

I quickly jump out of bed and grab some underwear near by so we can at least have a conversation first before engaging in more sex “Aww no fair” he pouts “Oh please, you and I both know you’ll have it ripped off soon” we laugh

I ask him about his flight and how his day was before asking the question I’d be dying to ask “So handsome, are you going to tell me about this surprise yet?” I ask 

He gives me the biggest smirk before replying “Go to front door Si” I get up and walk over to the front door seeing five different types of bags, Alexander was only staying for a few weeks and normally he only needs one bag, I was confused, were we going on holiday or something?

“What’s with all the bags handsome?” I yell out from the front of the apartment “Well that’s just the start sweetheart, you know I think we might need a bigger apartment” he says to me, Huh?!… what… what… WHAT?!

“What are you saying Alexander?” I ask him in all seriousness returning to the bedroom “I’m finally here baby, I want to live with you in New York, I want to wake up to you every morning and go to bed with you every night, I want us make a home together” he says grabbing my hands with his adorable face looking up at me from the bed

I had a million questions running through my head but for now I was going to enjoy it “Are you serious?” I ask him smiling from ear to ear “One hundred percent baby” 

I jump on to him like an excited child and start kissing him all over “Arghhh you know how ticklish I am Si!!” he cries out but that just makes me kiss him more, he starts tickling me back as we both start losing our breath from laughing so hard 

We’re on the edge of the bed about to fall off before he grabs me, we’re both still laughing and giggling, I can’t believe we get to be together, I can’t believe the man I love is going to be here with me, I feel so damn lucky

After we compose ourselves I think about how amazing my man is “Alexander, I can’t believe you did this for me, packed up your life in California, quit a job you loved and moved away from Brandon for me, I feel guilty but also so damn happy, I can’t thank you enough” I tell him looking straight into his beautiful eyes

“I did it for me too, for us, I couldn’t stand being apart anymore but one thing you don’t have to worry about is Brandon… he and Zara are moving to New York, he’s transferring to NYU and Zara is going to a Fashion Tech school” he smiles

“ARE YOU SERIOUS?” I scream out as he nods, not only was my guilt relieved but I was also getting Brandon back in my life, I couldn’t be more excited 

“So baby, I think we might need a bigger place, would you like to look at two bedroom apartments with me tomorrow?” he asks with his adorable smirk

“Maybe the next day…. I still need you to perform your boyfriend duties all tonight and alllll dayyyyy tomorrrooowww” I say very slowly as I move onto his body “You’ve got a lot of making up to do” I whisper as he throws me down onto the bed “At your service, Miss. Hazelwood”

Alexander’s POV

I was surprised by Owen’s request, he knew how serious Sienna and I were about each other and he had a feeling where we were heading and he wasn’t wrong

Part of me wanted to tell him to just fucking accept us and the plans we want to make but then I remembered what Scarlet told me, Sienna didn’t want to get engaged or married without her Father’s blessing so I knew what I had to say, it was short term pain for long term gain

“Okay Owen, you have my word, Sienna and I won’t get engaged until she finishes college” I say to him feeling slightly defeated as he shakes my hand

We finish off one more drink before heading home, we knew Penelope and Sienna would want to go back to the hospital as soon as possible so we needed sleep

Once back in Sienna’s apartment I slide back into bed with her and she instantly wraps her body around mine, even though having my girl on my body like this was heaven I couldn’t go back to sleep, my mind was wide awake thinking about how long I had to wait to propose, I know I should just be happy that we’re together but I wanted so much more, I know I was being a selfish impatient jerk 

I decided to have a bath to relax my body and mind, I started to slowly drift off when I hear her delicate footsteps approach the bathroom “Why does such a sexy man have such a concerned look on his face? Can’t you sleep baby?” she asks me looking adorable in her pajama singlet and panties 

“Maybe if you join me I’ll feel better baby girl” I couldn’t stop looking at Sienna’s beautiful body “Sure thing handsome” she smiles

I watch as Sienna seductively undresses in front of me, removing her clothes very slowly while maintaining eye contact with me “Shit baby, you’re so fucking sexy” I tell her as she lowers herself into the tub in front of me

“I love Alexander, I honestly don’t know what I’d do without you” she tells as I wrap my legs around her “I love so much Sienna, I feel like my life started again when I met you, you’ve made me feel happiness again and I can’t thank you enough” I say as my lips connect with hers, her fingers run up and down my back as my body shivers at her touch

Sienna’s POV

We stayed in the bath together just kissing and touching each other but we didn’t make love, knowing how serious the situation with Scarlet was we just wanted to comfort each other however I felt like something else was bothering Alexander but he kept ensuring me it was nothing

After our bath we got dressed and started heading to the hospital, we grabbed some coffee and sandwiches for Jean-Marc and Betty on the way there

“Any news?” I ask Betty giving her a hug “Nothing.. she hasn’t responded to anything, Jean-Marc won’t see his daughter without Scarlet waking up and the baby is so upset, she can sense something isn’t right, she wants to know where her Mom and Dad are, it’s heartbreaking” Betty words just come out monotone, she was suffering just as much and it was written all over her face

“I’m so sorry Aunt Betty, this must be so difficult for you, I wish there was more we could do” I say to her feeling so helpless 

A nurse comes over to Betty holding a baby “Ms.Williams would you like to hold your granddaughter?” she asks “Sienna, would it be okay if you took Violetta for a moment? I want to try and convince Jean to see his daughter” she asks sighing out of frustration and I’m guessing exhaustion “Of course Aunt Betty” I reply 

I take baby Vi in my arms and look down at her sweet innocent face, she was so beautiful and pure unaware of the chaos and drama going on around her 

Alexander’s POV

As I see Sienna holding baby Violetta I stop immediately completely in awe of the beautiful sight in front of me, Sienna was a natural with her and it made my mind run wild with thoughts

“Si, I think someone likes you a lot” I say to her as I softly wrap my arms around Si and Violetta, “She’s beautiful, just perfect, I really hope she can meet her Mom soon” I say as Sienna nods 

We waited at the hospital for the rest of the day until we hear Jean-Marc screaming out for the doctor, we stand up and look through the hospital room window so we’re out of the way, Scarlet had woken up and Violetta was clutching on to her, she looked exhausted but happy  

Jean’s face told us everything, his bright smile beaming while tears filled his eyes, he clutches his two loves and breaks down in their arms, he was finally able to breath again  

We eventually go in to see them but we didn’t stay long so they could all rest “We’ll come visit tomorrow after I’m done with college, take care, so good to see you Scar” Sienna says kissing her forehead, I give Jean-Marc a hug and could feel all his emotions racing through his body, he was still very much on edge

As we walk out of the hospital I grab Sienna’s hand as we continue to head home “Si, you know I have to go back to California tomorrow afternoon? I need to get back for work” I tell her sheepishly “Oh fuck, yeah I forgot, that’s okay they will understand” I look down at her beautiful face and can see the disappointment written all over it, it killed me seeing her like this

Once we get home I make us some dinner and afterwards we curl up on the couch and watch a movie, Sienna was a bit quiet but that was kind of normal when one of us had to leave to go back home 

Later on we go to bed and Sienna wraps her body around me but I could tell she wasn’t in the mood for anything more, once she’s asleep I send Owen a text message “Hey Owen, I’m leaving for Cali tomorrow, If you’re still in New York can we get coffee tomorrow morning?”  he replied back with a place and time for us to meet

Morning comes around and Sienna is still feeling a bit down, I cook her some pancakes for breakfast in the hope of making her feel better “Baby, this is so adorable, I love it” she gives me the cutest little smile which makes it all worth it

I wrap my arms around her from behind and whisper to her “I’ll always get back to you as soon as I can and you won’t leave my mind for a second” she turns her head and kisses my lips “Thank you handsome, I just miss you so much when you’re gone” 

After our shower we say our goodbyes as Sienna heads to college and I head over to a cafe to meet Owen, we grab a coffee and just chat about work mostly, “Owen, I did want to ask you something about Sienna” he eyes open wide as I make my case to him

Sienna’s POV

We always knew this wasn’t ever going to be easy but why did it feel like it was getting harder? I guess because our feelings had intensified, I was so deeply in love with this man he was like a dependency, he’s my drug

All my classes were finished by 3.30pm and afterwards I proceeded to grab a coffee with Mia, I ordered a double mocha choc chip cream frappuccino, it was the definition of sugar masked as coffee but I needed a high calorie, high fat, high sugar drink to try and easy my pain

“We’re both captains let us take over” Owen shouts, he moves away immediately and we jump in the seats “The cabin is losing too much pressure, we need to release the oxygen masks” I tell Owen, the plane had been on a downwind spiral since the captain’s heart attack

Owen releases the oxygen masks and makes an announcement to the plane “This is Captain Owen Hazelwood, myself and Captain Alexander Rose have taken over the aircraft as the Captain that was in charge of your flight has had a medical issue arise, please be ensured you’re in safe hands with Alexander and myself, the cabin pressure is currently low which is why we’ve released the oxygen masks, please place them over your head if you’re having trouble breathing” he calmly announces to the passengers

“Owen, we’ve got other problems, the left engine has completely shut down, we’re running on one engine at the moment, the captain must of freaked out about the engine which caused him to have the heart attack” I tell him “Looks like we’re making an emergency landing, I’ll radio to the control towers” he replies

Sienna’s POV

The oxygen masks were down and people were really stressing out, half the passengers put them on and the other half were crying or yelling, there was a small girl in front of me, maybe about 8 or 9 who was very upset

“Hey sweetheart, my Father and my boyfriend are now flying the plane and you know what, they’re the absolute best, everything is going to be okay, I promise” I say as her tears stop, she pulls me in for a hug as I softly rub her back “You’re such a strong brave girl” I tell her

“Passengers, This is Captain Alexander Rose speaking, we will be making an emergency landing in Ohio and starting our decent shortly, the plane has suffered some mechanical problems so our landing may be bumpy however we’re confident we will land the plane shortly and safely, please stay in your seats with your seat belts tight” 

Owen assists with navigating and the controls while I attempt to land the plane, it was shaking violently and the poor weather conditions weren’t helping “This isn’t going to be a smooth landing at all” I say to Owen “I know but you’re doing the best job possible, landing was never going to be easy with one engine” 

I had a clear view of the runway now and knew we were seconds away from touching down, I’ve never had an injured passenger before and I didn’t want today to be the day I have my first, my mind wanders to Sienna for a moment hoping she is calm, hearing about Scarlet and now this must have taken a toll on her 

We hit the ground hard as the plane bounces and shutters from side to side, I was able to firmly brake and stop the plane, even though it all happened quickly I was confident everyone on board was okay

Once the plane was at a complete stop I leave Owen in the cockpit and walk down the aisle to see Sienna, “Si, Baby?” I say as I see her beautiful face, she stands up from her seat and throws her arms around me “Thank you saving us Alexander” she whispers into my ear “I’ll keep you safe for forever baby” I reply

Owen emerges from the cockpit and walks down to us, it was at this point that the passengers stood up and starting clapping and cheering for us, we had people coming up to us shaking our hand and some even hugging us, this was by far my proudest moment as a Pilot

We were lucky enough to be able to re-book a flight to New York leaving in an hour, Owen and I spent most of the time answering questions with the police and airline officials 

As soon as we land in New York we head over to the hospital, once directed to Scarlet’s room we find Betty and Jean-Marc, both were obviously highly distraught and not coping well

I watch Sienna go into Scarlet’s hospital room as I wait outside with Jean-Marc “She’s a fighter, she will fight this, she will come back to you” I say to him giving him a hug 

“I’m nothing without her, I can’t do anything without her, she’s my life, my air” he breaks down crying and shaking, I could feel how raw his pain was, it was heartbreaking

We stayed until early in the morning before heading home, Scarlet had no change in her condition and we decided to get a few hours sleep before heading back

Owen and Penelope went to Betty’s place and I went back to Sienna’s apartment with her, Sienna was asleep in my arms in bed when I receive a text message on my phone “Hey, meet me at the bar next to Sienna’s building in 15 minutes” it was from Owen, I thought we left on good terms so I had no idea what he wanted

I head to the bar and grab a scotch waiting for Owen “Hey, thanks for meeting me” he says appearing from the front door “No problem” 

He orders a whiskey and sits opposite me “How’s Sienna doing?” he asks “She’s shaken up after the plane incident and seeing Scarlet in her condition but she’s doing alright” I tell him taking a sip of the scotch

“Before the plane ride turned to shit I was watching you, I was watching how you were comforting her, how you went to her when we landed, you really do genuinely care about her, don’t you?” he asks 

“Of course Owen, you were my closest friend for 20 years I wouldn’t throw that away for a fling, I love Sienna more than anything, she’s my whole world and I’m truly sorry for the pain it’s caused” I say to him genuinely, I needed him to know exactly how I felt

“I’m sorry too, fuck I acted like a fucking jerk, I just couldn’t handle it, she’s my little girl, my only child, I just want her to be happy and protect her” he states running his fingers through his hair 

“She is happy, we’re happy together and I’ll do everything to make her happy and protect her until the end of time, I promise you that” I tell him finishing off my drink

“I know where this is headed because I know you and I’ve seen the way you look at each other, can I make one request?” Owen asks looking nervous “I’m listening” I say anxiously 

“Please let her finish college, please don’t do anything to distract her from college” I smile back at him “Of course, you know I want her to finish college too and I fully support that”

“No, Alexander, I’m asking you not to propose to Sienna until she finishes college”

“From what I remember Trish or should I call you by your real name, Ashley, you were running away from that mobster ex-boyfriend of yours, it would be a shame if he found out where you were located” Damon states, her face and persona changed instantly, I knew exactly what it was, it was fear

“I can’t tell you but If you go back home to California you’ll find your answer and Sienna just so you know he was never going to give in to me, I could tell from the start, you’ve got a faithful man that’s in love with you, you’re very lucky” she bursts into tears before running off

“He wouldn’t see you?” Alexander asks me concerned, I forgot that I kept it from him “What is wrong with you?” Alexander questions Dad “Stay the fuck out of this before I throw you through the window” Alexander laughs “Pfft, I’d like to see you try”

“Stop!! This isn’t helping, Dad, please, I know you’re hurt by us being together but you have to let us live our lives, I love Alexander and he treats me like a queen, I want you to accept it but If deep down in your heart you can’t than can I at least ask you not to try and break us us?” I plead with him taking his hand in mine

“Sienna, I won’t ever be able to accept the two of you together but I don’t know what you’re talking about, I didn’t hire anyone to break the two of you up” he says shaking his head

“It wasn’t him… It was me” we hear from the kitchen, I knew that voice instantly, I look over and see her standing next to Mom

“Kate!! What the fuck is this all about?” Alexander growls

Alexander’s POV

I arrive at Jean and Scarlet’s apartment, I was able to speak to both of them as Jean was working from home, Scarlet was heavily pregnant and could go into labor at any moment so he wanted to stay close

“How are you feeling?” I ask Scarlet “Good, I’m so uncomfortable though, it’s time for her to move out” she frowns 

“So I have good news and bad news, the good news is she wants to marry you but the bad news is she wants her Dad’s blessing first” she tells me 

“Well that’s good, I mean knowing she wants to marry me is just fucking amazing, it’s the end goal, Yes Owen is an issue but I’ll do whatever it takes to get that blessing and mark my words, I’m going to get it” I tell her sternly

“Fighting for the woman you love is always worth it, trust me” Jean says as he enters the room sitting next to Scarlet giving her a kiss on the forehead

“I’ll speak to Mom and get her to soften her brother, she can relate to what he’s going through” Scarlet tells me

“Well I know with Betty jewelry always softens her up” Jean-Marc adds “Oh good, I’ll run down to Tiffany’s now and grab Owen a lovely pearl necklace” I reply shaking my head

Jean-Marc breaks out into a fit of laughter “Sorry! I meant maybe you can get something he likes then he might at least listen to what you have to say, butter him up first”

“Hmmm I could try that” I say smirking, it was at this point that a text came through on my phone “Hey Handsome hope you’re having a good day, Damon is lecturing at college and wants to meet for a drink afterwards, can you meet us at Lola’s Lounge at 5pm? Love you x” 

I reply to Sienna letting her know I’d meet them there, I spent the rest of the afternoon helping Jean-Marc build the changing table and crib in the nursery “You both must be so excited” I say to him “It’s all I’ve ever wanted, my wife and my child, I know your time will come soon, you two can get through anything” he says smiling

Damon and I got caught up speaking to Mia so we were running a little late “I think you have a soft spot for Mia” I say to him smirking “Haha, she’s gorgeous and smart, what’s not to like?” I laugh “Very true, well if she ever becomes single I’ll be happy to put in a good word” I say

“Are they happy?” Damon asks “It’s long distance so it’s tough, I think they’re drifting apart to be honest” I tell him, as I say this a small smile appears on his face, I playfully hit his chest “Bad man” I say as he laughs 

“Um Sienna why is she talking to Alexander?” he stops me as we see an attractive woman chatting to Alexander 

“I don’t know who she is, probably trying to chat him up, it’s okay I trust him” I say, Damon grabs my arm taking off his glasses, the concern was written all over his face

“No Sienna, you don’t understand, I know that woman, her name is Trish Killey, our firm hires out her services” he tells me as my eyes widen “Services?!? what the fuck are you talking about?” I say panicked

“She is hired to seduce men and in some cases women too, customers will pay her to obtain proof that their partner has been unfaithful, now I know you wouldn’t have hired her but someone has, she’s fucking ruthless, it’s not often that she can’t complete a job, someone wants to fuck with the two of you, you need to put a stop to it” Damon warns me

Oh I’ll put a fucking stop to it, we begin to walk towards them, I make eye contact with her as her eyes widen, she recognizes me and begins to walk inside the bar

As we get to Alexander I keep walking towards her, my eyes fixated on her “Baby, where are you going?” I hear Alexander call out “We better follow, I’ll explain everything” Damon tells him

She swiftly moves into the bathroom which was a dumb move because the bitch is now trapped, no one and I mean no one fucks with our relationship, that jealously I felt earlier today had now boiled over and all I had running through my veins was rage, after I’m done with her she won’t want to even be in the same country as Alexander

Ughhhhh!!! That was my exact reaction when she told me about Uncle Owen, that was never going to be easy for Alexander to fix, I mean if they never repair their relationship does that mean Sienna won’t marry Alexander without her father’s blessing?

I knew I had to tell Alexander everything Sienna told me, I felt bad for going behind her back but it was to help out their relationship, I wanted to see them be together as husband and wife  

After Sienna and I were done talking I message Alexander telling him to come over tomorrow morning when Sienna was back at college, I could have seen him later today but right now I need my man and honestly… we might be a while

“Jean… are you home?” I yell out as I open the apartment door, I see him appear from the lounge “Yes Fleur and guess what? I have a freeze full of ice cream for you” he replies raising his eyebrow, fuck that couldn’t be hotter “Clothes. Off. Now.” I growl as I take off my jacket and top

Once ready I pick up the box from the kitchen and leave the apartment closing the door and immediately turn around and knock on the door

Alexander answers and he can’t help but laugh “Yes madam, can I help you?” he smirks “Yes, I’m here to take one Alexander Rose on a date tonight” I say sweetly 

Alexander’s POV

She was completely adorable not to mention when I saw how beautiful she looked in her skintight white dress it made my heart skip a beat

I was handed a small black box with a ribbon on it, the box was kind of warm and I was intrigued about the contents “I thought you might like this more than flowers”

 I open the box and see a bunch of cute airplane cookies, one cookie was in the shape of a love heart and had “Your’re so Fly” written on it, oh fuck what this woman does to me

I sneakily take a bite of one of the cloud cookies as we head outside to a waiting car “So where are we going to have dinner Si?” I ask while keeping my hand on her thigh “No dinner yet handsome” she replies as I turn to her, If we weren’t going to dinner where were we going?

We head downtown taking about 20 minutes before we get out of the car, I look up once out of the car and see the building in front of us ‘Aviation Museum New York’

“Si, what’s going on?” I say with a bit of anxious excitement in my voice “Come on, you’ll see” 

We head inside and there is no one in sight but all the lights were on “It’s just us handsome, just you and me” she tells me as she grabs my hand

I couldn’t believe she had gone to all this trouble for me, I still sometimes feel uncomfortable having someone spoil me like this but I have to kept telling myself it’s just a gesture of love

We walk around the exhibit looking at different aviation items from planes to machines to engines, fuck it must’ve been so boring for Sienna but she had a smile on her face the whole time, it made me realized that all she wanted was for me to be happy, I had to swallow the lump in my throat before I let all my emotions come out

We walked around for a good hour before I was done “Thank you so much for this Si, this was really special and you’re amazing for planning this me” she kisses my lips in response “You’re welcome handsome, now let’s get something to eat as I bet you’re starving but before we go I just have to tell the guy working here we’re leaving so he can lock up”

I look at one of the fighter jets near the entrance when I hear a voice behind me “Major General Rose?” I turn to see an old colleague of mine “Captain Rhodes, good to see you again” I shake his hand “I’m retired from the Air Force now so it’s just Rose or Alexander, how about you?” I ask him “Yeah, retired too, my eyesight started to deteriorate and I couldn’t fly to the standard they required so I’m here now running this museum, you know they’re opening up a huge aviation and space museum next year uptown, you’d be great for it” he tells me “I still get restless legs and need to be up in the air but I’ll keep that in mind, thanks” I shake his hand and tell him we’ll have a proper catch up soon

As soon as we get outside Sienna stops me “You were a Major General in the Air Force?!?” she asks shocked “Yes, I was there for a really long time, I just climbed up the rankings and that’s as high as I got” I say to her nonchalantly “But that’s a really high ranking, you would have been in charge of thousands of people?” she asks still shocked “About 12,000 people” I reply, as soon I tell her that she moves in closer to me “The more I find out about you the sexier you get, I might need you to wear your old uniform to bed one night Major General Rose” she growls into my ear pulling on my belt, Fuck, I hope this is the quickest dinner ever

Sienna made a reservation at a upmarket restaurant and we were seated in a private booth in a quite corner “Si, I’m going to go up and see which scotch they have available, our drinks menu appears to be missing, what can I get you?” I ask tracing my fingers up and down her outer thigh “Just champagne for me please” I softly kiss her lips as I head up to the bar

I look over the list and pick out a drink as I wait on Sienna’s drink as well, I look back at my beautiful woman reading over the menu, I can see her mind going crazy wondering what to order, damn she’s so adorable, I can’t wait to take all of her tonight and make her mine, I badly wanted to make love to her this afternoon but I wanted to show her I could be physically affectionate without it always leading to sex

As the barman places in front of me Sienna’s drink I turn to walk back to our booth before I’m stopped by a strange woman standing in front of me “Oh Hi… um… it’s me, Trish, the crazy girl from the Mexican restaurant the other night, I just wanted to say I’m sorry for coming on too strong, I just wanted to have a drink with you that’s all” she says winking at me

“Well apology accepted Trish, now if you’ll excuse me I need to get back to my booth” I say walking around her “I’m just trying to be friendly, everyone could use a another friend right?” she quips as I turn back to her sighing “No, thank you, I’m really not interested, have a good night Trish” I reply “If only you knew” she mutters under her breath

Trish’s POV

Ugh this is fucking humiliating, I move to the bathroom and make a phone call “Hey it’s me, listen he’s not giving me the time of day, I’ve been direct, I’ve been sweet and sorry but nothing works, I really don’t think he’s going to crack” I say 

“I don’t care Trish!! Find some other way or you won’t see a cent, I told you before what I want, I want you to seduce Alexander Rose and send me the proof, if you can’t do it I’ll find someone who can” they reply, I roll my eyes and shake my head “No, I can do it, just give me a little more time, I just need to think outside the box with this one, bye” I hang up

I peek outside to see him with his arm wrapped around a beautiful young woman, he looked completely smitten and honestly so did she, they’re so in love and it was my job to destroy it

“So… what do you guys think? thoughts? opinions… um anything?” I ask nervously, both facial reactions made it clear how they felt, they were shocked

“Well I get it, I do, I mean I did the same thing, when you find the woman you want to spend your life with you don’t want to waste anytime. Sienna has been through a lot lately, do you think it’s the right time?” Jean-Marc states

“Well…I’m so damn excited!! I mean I’m shocked but excited…um…however I think Jean is right, proposing could be a bit much for her right now, she’s had a lot to deal with and she’s got to catch up on college, she wouldn’t want to fail and get kicked out” Scarlet adds

I appreciate how honest both were being with me but it felt like daggers going through my heart, “Ugh, you guys are right, it’s too soon and the wrong time, I should just let her focus on college and be happy with what we have now” I run my fingers through my hair feeling frustrated, knowing they were right but still wanting the end goal, her as my wife

“We’re not saying ‘don’t do it’, it’s just you have to imagine what she’s thinking and feeling right now, we care about you both and we don’t want to see anyone getting hurt, I guess I could always do some fishing for you?” Scarlet says raising her eyebrows

I chuckle “And how would you go about that? I don’t want her to know any of this yet” I tell her “That’s easy, I’ll go out to lunch with her and will have a girl talk, don’t worry she won’t suspect anything, we always talk about you guys anyway” Scarlet replies

“What have you said about me?!” Jean jumps in “Oh wouldn’t you love to know handsome…” she growls, seeing the way they were looking at each other I knew it was time to leave 

I thank them both for chatting to me and Scarlet mentions she would arrange to catch up with Sienna in the next few days 

As I wander the streets back to Sienna’s apartment I have to admit I feel dejected and somber, I knew I was being impatient but I’m in my late 30’s and I finally found the love of my life, I didn’t want Sienna as just a girlfriend, I’m just at that stage in my life that I want her as my wife, I know she’s my other half

I walk into a local Mexican restaurant and order some quesadillas to take back to Si, as I waited for the food a random woman walks up to me “Hey, I haven’t seen you here before, are you a local?” she asks batting her eyelashes “Um… kind of” I reply looking down at my phone

“Well how about we go get a drink somewhere? you look like you have a lot on your mind” she winks, I didn’t want to be rude but I’m clearly not interested “No thank you, I’m heading back home once my food is ready” I say to her as I pretend to play on my phone

“You know not many men turn me down and after a night with me they never forget it” she says placing her hand on my arm, I step away from her looking at her like she’s fucking crazy

“You know what… you’re right, I do have a lot on my mind, right now I’m thinking about which position I want to make love to my girlfriend in tonight” I reply sternly 

She slowly backs off and walks away in a huff, I roll my eyes at her before picking up my food order and heading back to Si’s apartment, I’m ready to crawl into bed and forget about this night

I walk into her apartment and see her still studying, she had papers everywhere and different books open, it was organized chaos  

“Hey Beautiful, I brought back some food, did you want some now?” I ask kissing her on her forehead  “Um.. in a minute, just have to finish this section” she replies frazzled 

I decided to have a shower before dinner just so I can leave her alone to concentrate, after I was done I get into some comfortable sweats and head into the kitchen to heat up some of the food, I take it to the lounge room and put on the TV keeping a very low volume trying my best not to disturb her

After an hour or so she comes into the room and playfully sits on my lap “Missed you handsome, is there some food left?” she asks kissing my lips “Of course, do you want me to heat it up for you?” I ask “No, no, that’s okay I can do it myself, I’ll be back” she smiles

She gets changed and heats up the food before joining me again in the couch “Thank you so much for dinner handsome, what would I do without you?” 

Sienna’s POV

As soon as Alexander returned home I knew immediately that something was bothering him, something was off, I could sense it  “Where did you go before baby?” I ask him “Just saw Jean and Scarlet, Scar wants to meet up with you for lunch soon” he replies it such a monotone “Is everything okay?” I ask placing my hand on his “Yeah Si, just tired, I think I’ll head to bed”

He places a kiss on my forehead and heads off to bed, okay now I definitely know something is wrong “Alexander, what’s going on? what’s happened? You’re not your normal self?” I ask as I follow him to the bedroom “I am just tired Si, really” so unconvincing 

“Yeahh…no, I’m not buying it, did I do something to upset you?” I ask, he sits up immediately “No baby, never, I promise I’ll be fine in the morning” he gives me a half smile and falls back into bed

I crawl in next to him wrapping my arms around him from behind “You can always tell me anything Alexander, let me help you like you helped me” I whispers to him softly kissing the back of his shoulders
